• Our Science program focuses on interactive science instruction that promotes analysis and interpretation of data, critical thinking, problem solving, and connections across science disciplines. During the K-2 experience, children will begin to form connections between concepts and skills such as understanding relationships between objects, planning and carrying out investigations, and constructing explanations. In Kindergarten, students are expected to develop an understanding of patterns and variations in local weather, apply an understanding of the effects of different strengths or different directions of pushes and pulls on the motion of an object, and understand what plants and animals need to survive & the relationship between their needs and where they live.
