• Instruction is based on the philosophy that young children will best learn music by making music. The children sign, sing, move, dance, listen and create music in a welcoming and musically rich learning environment.  Instruction is based on the NJSLS and the District Performing Arts Curriculum. The Second Grade curriculum includes: performance practice, composer of the month, interactive smart board lessons, rhythmic study and a barred instrument unit of study.
