Quad-District Enrichment Program Identification Criteria
The identification of academically talented students in Tier 3 occurs through regionally developed procedures that involve multiple measures including standardized testing, tests of cognitive skills, and teacher input based on student behavior and performance. The Quad District Enrichment Criteria Matrix
• Benchmark Assessment Scores: (Link-It in Grade 3, NJSLA in Grades 4 & 5)
• Quad-District teacher checklist
• CoGAT Test of Cognitive Skills3rd grade and new students will take the CogAT(Cognitive Abilities Test) which will be administered on September 18th, 2024 (make-ups on Sept 19-20)
Students who have met the 2024-25 criteria for the gifted and talented program will receive letters which will be emailed out on September 30th.
Bogert Enrichment Forms for appeal may be obtained from Mrs. Caravela and must be filed by October 15th.
Students new to Bogert School who meet the Quad-District criteria will be notified by November 15th to allow current classroom teachers to complete teacher checklists. Forms for appeal (for new students) may be obtained by Mrs. Caravela and must be filed by November 27th.
